Sheridan and Wheels visit Steven's mum's house, unaware he is hiding inside. Toni and CJ share a kiss. Alice gets a business proposal. Sheridan goes on TV to warn the world about Steven.

George reprimands Sheridan for the television broadcast and tells her she is inviting Steven to come and get her. Toni and CJ try to talk about their kiss but Max and Albie insist staying up all night and watching music videos to help Max get over missing Nikki. Toni and Alice take the clothes Alice made to the shop. Whilst there they run into Alice's friend Penny O'Brien. Penny is in the fashion business and she and Alice knew each other before Alice cam to Westside. Whilst Wheels and Sheridan are asleep Steven knocks over a bottle in the attic. Wheels hears the noise and goes upstairs to investigate. He finds the food that Steven has been eating but sees no sign of Steven. As he comes back down the stairs Steven runs behind him and knocks him out. He then goes into Sheridan's room and pins her to the bed. He tells her if she screams he will kill her.

Sheridan is unharmed, and Steven brags about his crimes on Dr Rock's radio show. Bob blames himself for not realising Steven's true nature, and comes face-to-face with him in the church.

Steven breaks down as he confides in Bob, and later threatens Sheridan on the radio. Lisa, Toni, Alice and Penny have to pull an all-nighter. Sheridan collapses after another psychic battle with Steven.

Lisa decides to leave Westside, but faces a terrifying ordeal when her taxi driver turns out to be Steven. Jojo worries that Valentine is in love with her.

Lisa tries to escape from the freezer. Wheels and Sheridan confront Steven and shots are fired. Jojo's plan for a romantic night with Valentine goes awry. Sheridan realises Steven has kidnapped Lisa.

A desperate hunt begins to find and free Lisa from Steven's clutches, but time is running out. George and Max find a little girl wandering around the streets, who turns out to be Penny's daughter.

Sheridan has a long-awaited confrontation with Steven, but can she bring herself to press the trigger and end her ordeal once and for all? Lisa and Alice bid farewell to Westside.

Sheridan is arrested after the shooting as Steven is rushed to hospital. Dr Rock arranges a protest. Jojo's mum is coming to town. Martha gets bad news about her job.

Wheels breaks Sheridan out of jail; they finally declare their love for each other and go on the run. Martha finds a new job. Jojo doesn't want her mother around.

Jamie and Constable Sam Farrell are caught up in a petrol station robbery. Wheels and Sheridan settle into life as fugitives. Jojo and Annie argue. Penny makes a blunder.

George arrests Dr Rock, and the residents are stunned at his true identity. Jojo and Annie try to resolve their differences. Ed Farrell vows to catch Wheels and Sheridan, dead or alive.

Jamie has an important job interview. George is worried about Wheels and Sheridan and presses Valentine to help find them. Ed won't give George and Sam a break. Penny proposes to someone. Sam's fiancé turns up. As The fugitives enjoy themselves Jo Jo and Valentine turn up to warn them that Ed is closing in.

Max and George continue to stress about Ed's behavior. Jamie panics about the proposal. Sam learns that the man he shot at the service station hold-up has died. Penny and Jamie pretend to be married. Amy tries to talk to Sam. Ed threatens Valentine and a fight breaks out. Martha attempts to get her job back. Sam tells his father that he knows the gun was switched. Ed organizes a hunting party to track down Wheels and Sheridan.

Two shots ring out from the hideaway when Ed barrels in. Penny is open to get married to suit both their circumstances but Jamie is not sure. Jo Jo tries to get Valentine to see sense. Penny needs a loan. Dr Rock attempts to warn the fugitives on the radio but is it too late? Wheels is caught much to Ed's satisfaction. Sheridan has a plan.

E22. Episode 22

Wheels is impressed with Sheridan for their lucky escape while Ed feels humiliated. The party continues at Penny's to celebrate the escape. Jamie pays for Penny's rent when she is about to be evicted. Sheridan considers their options. Ed pressures Valentine by saying Sheridan is pregnant. Dr Rock organizes Wheels to speak to Ed Farrell and an arrangement is made to return but is this a set up? Sam asks his dad not to pull the trigger. Dr Rock feels the wrath of Ed.

Wheels wants to sell the car as too conspicuous. Amy gets a new patient to look after at the hospital called Mr Richardson. Ed turns up at the station drunk. Penny tries to get Charlie to understand the arrangement with Jamie. Amy is nervous around her patient. Bob pays a visit. Ed talks to Elly about the connection between Steven and Sheridan. The fugitives steel a new car. Ed visits an unconscious Richardson. Wheels works up his courage to propose. The patient awakes.

Valentine and JoJo try to find Wheels. Amy seeks advice from Elly about Steven Richardson. Jamie is frustrated when working from the pub so puts an ultimatum to Penny and Charlie. Wheels tells Sheridan that they are not giving up. Elly visits Steven and tells Amy to keep monitoring despite her fears. Charlie starts to bond with Jamie. Dr Rock arranges Reverend Bob to marry Wheels and Sheridan over the radio. A drunk Ed searches for the fugitives with his gun.

E25. Episode 25

Amy has a vivid dream about Steven as a young frightened boy. Ed pressures JoJo. Amy has another dream so tells Elly what she sees. Wheels catches Sheridan crying. Ed threatens Valentine with a gun, will Sam be able to stop him? Steven has a medical emergency. Ed is closing in.

Wheels does a deal with George while Ed coerces a confession. Ernie gives George some wise words. Ed uses the dog to help give away the hideaway location. George and Max try to stop the shootout. Ed is furious with the outcome, have Wheels and Sheridan finally escaped to a better life?

E27. Episode 27

The search for Wheels and Sheridan is called off and George tells Martha he helped them leave the country by calling in a favour. Amy continues to have nightmares about Steven and asks Elly for more information on him. Ed tells George he is going back to the security business. He wants him to train Sam and fast track him to Sergeant – if he does so he’ll grant George early retirement and a great pension. Penny and Jamie continue their fake marriage in order to fool Jamie’s boss Mr Hughs and Penny’s landlord. However their false identities get them into trouble when he suspects Penny is having an affair. Amy begins to get reactions from Steven, his pulse races when she changes her tights and kisses Sam. Elly is unconvinced by what she hears but as Amy tries to wash the thoughts from her head Steven grabs her hand.

E28. Episode 28

Amy begins to have dreams about Stevens childhood, she is moved by the abuse he suffered at the hands of his Mother and vows never to leave him. She tells Bob about the dreams and says she feels Steven is controlling her life in some way. She finds Steven’s ring among his things and finds when she wears it she is once again taken back through his life. The Hughes have lunch for Penny and Jamie. They are still convinced Penny is having an affair and he is forced to admit a fake affair in order to save her fake marriage. George tells Sam about the telepathic connection Steven shared with Sheridan.

E29. Episode 29

It’s the day of the inquest investigating the petrol station shooting. Sam is nervous and on the way to court he punches a photographer. He confesses to George that the gun Murphy had was a water pistol and that Harry Haddock and the boys at Newbridge covered for him. George tells him he has to tell the truth in court but Sam fails to. Bob holds Stevens ring whilst he is talking to him. As he takes the ring off his finger Steven goes into cardiac arrest. Only when Bob places the ring back on his finger does Steven begin to breathe again. Later on that day Elly receives a shock when she sees Steven without his bandages for the first time. Meanwhile Penny and Jamie are subjected to marriage counselling and are surprised when the counsellor tells them they are the most compatible couple she’s ever met.

E30. Episode 30

Sam is worried when Amy fails to show up for work. He and Max are alerted to a break in at Steven’s old house and they find Amy there. She is taken to the police station but won’t say anything that sheds light on the situation. Sam goes back to Steven’s house and finds a picture of a young Steven – on the back is written ‘Steven for Amy’. Toni, Claire and Jo-Jo go through Joey’s Dr Rock fan mail. They are alarmed when they come across some vicious mail and later receive a ticking parcel. Convinced it’s a bomb they take it to the police station where George examines it. The parcel explodes – it’s a flour bomb containing a note which says ‘The next one will be real.’ Back at the hospital Steven speaks to Amy and asks her to kill him.
