Most people associate Resident Evil with the survival horror genre, but its origins lie in a different franchise: ALONE IN THE DARK. Because BEAT SLAYER is set in an alternative reality in the state capital where robots are up to mischief. But there's still currywurst and techno. The whole thing mixes rhythm games like Hi-Fi Rush with roguelite gameplay a la Hades.
