i didn’t really know what to expect of this episode- the comments i was seeing made it sound like it was awful. i ended up enjoying this. Rue is lost and impulsive - that tracks. Maddy is confident and doing her thing- makes sense. Nate and Cassie are doing exactly what makes sense for them to be doing since they stayed together. Cassie especially is being exactly as i’d expect, honestly. Lexie working with a legend and making useful and appreciated suggestions also makes sense. Nate saying turn on the machines and pretend was funny as fuck im sorry. i felt so bad for poor Rue Rue when Alamo had the gun pointed at her. all this because her mom flushed the drugs down the toilet. she’s the perfect candidate for indoctrination- lost and confused Fez being in prison… my heart. it 10000% feels like a different show, all things considered but i still liked it. Labrynth’s absence is FELT.
