it’s fascinating to see how viewers (commenters here) react to the “beloved” characters in this show doing harm. it’s like they’re infallible in their eyes. maybe they don’t live in the real world like the rest of us where beloved figures are sometimes hiding huge skeletons in their closets , just like Dana was?
i mean, just because she was portrayed as a strong and ambitious woman, doesnt mean she wasn’t prone to being manipulated or hurt by some casanova in her youth. doesnt mean she’s not prone to rage. everyone can become a murderer under the right conditions, never forget that.
i also think white viewers have bias towards white characters. may not be the case here, but it’s not as incredible as you might think.
