Mare definitely did not deserve this slap. Talking bout if her son didn’t go to that house with Mare he would still be alive. firstly, he’s a policeman so he was doing his job investigating a CRIME! secondly, he sorta caused his own death. because as soon as they stepped into that house they both knew something was up and Mare had to tell him to prepare his weapon and it was her who had to tell him to shoot and he reacted too a little too slow (not to her telling him to shoot but to the situation overall. he must have been able to sense that they were in real danger yet he was so slow to responding). i liked his character a lot and his death was so abrupt and then so much happened after. it’s like the writers didn’t want us to process it. man this episode is heavy
