Hooker's investigation into a series of gristly murders by a pair of religious crazies is accompanied by Sergeant Leigh Stockwell, a close, old friend, whom is somewhat his protÃ©gÃ©. But Stacy becomes suspicious that Leigh is using cocaine, an addiction which not only jeopardises the case and Leigh's job, but also Hooker's life.
