As Kenan recounts his own story in Dr. Gülser's diary, which reaches him years later, we see him unexpectedly clinging to life again in his simple nursing home existence. The friendships he forms with Mümtaz, Cemil, Recep, and the other residents restore a sense of belonging he hasn't felt for years. Working with Saliha in the garden, touching the soil, and most importantly, connecting with Saliha's sick grandson, Vedat, and looking out for him, becomes a turning point that illuminates the darkness within Kenan. In this process, Kenan sees being a source of hope for the little boy as his second chance and decides to do everything he can for Vedat's recovery. Emerging from the shadow of his past losses and truly doing good for someone for the first time, Kenan learns to forgive, to bond, and to start life anew, not neglecting to set aside his king's crown and his arrogant demeanor.
